UFC 89 Bisping vs Leben

This bout is taking place over in jolly England and it will be on Spike Live. You can expect the usual 3pm time frame.
Bisping vs Leben
Leben literally has two bricks for hands and has won several fights via KO. Bisping on the other hand not so many. He does TKO people however. I think Bisping’s speed, reach, and footwork, will allow him to avoid the Leben bomb. Bisping probably will win via outpointing Leben. If the odds are heavily skewed because Bisping is the hometown kid, it may pay to put something on Leben. Aside from odds, I like Bisping to win via decision.
Keith Jardine vs Brandon Vera
This is a great fight and one I’m more excited to see than the headliner. I think Vera showed if he gets mounted he is in deep shit. Yes, Werdeum has redunkulous top game, and we haven’t seen Jardine in that position a whole bunch. Jardine likes to stand and that will play into Vera’s best strength. IF the fight stays on the feet, I give it to Vera. IF Jardine fights Vera all over the place up and down, then Jardine can win on the cards.
I’ll go with Vera again and if he dissappoints me again, I’ll avoid every Vera fight going forward.
Sokoudju vs Luiz Cane
I lean towards Cane in this bout vs the always dangerous African Assassin.
Chris Lytle vs Paul Taylor
This match could be the early favorite for fight of the night. Taylor is a stand up technician and I think this matches up well against Lytle whose strength is in the stand up, yet possesses (I think) a brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu now. I like Lytle to win via TKO.
Marcus Davis vs Paul Kelly
Paul Kelly put a beating on Paul Taylor in the last UK UFC. Kelly looked very impressive. This fight is going to be good, but I’m taking Davis on experience, but it won’t be easy.
Shane Carwin vs Neil Wain
I’ll take Shane Carwin in the dark, everyday of the week. Lock of the night!
Sam Stout vs Terry Etim
This is another tough fight to pick as Sam Stout can take a lot of abuse while dishing out strong strikes up and down. Its good thing “Hands of Stone” also has a chin of stone, because Terry Etim is very fast and is a very proficient and efficient striker. I think there is a chance for Stout to get outpointed in this fight. If Sam can’t rain down the big punch drop Etim and capitalize, then Etim will be able to work his full game and win a decision.
I like Stout to win.
