Heart – Forrest has had many fights where he had to gut out a bad period and overcome.
Cardio, Height, and Reach

Strengths and Weaknesses for Evans

Has won via KO with his hands and feet before.
Has fought as a heavyweight. May be the stronger fighter in this one.
Speed, foot and head movement.
Wrestling.

This matchup seems like it could go the way of the Bisping matchup. If the fight plays out like the Evans/Bisping fight, then that would favor Griffin. Griffin is the champ and in a close fight the champ keeps his belt. Evans is going to have to overwhelmingly win the rounds to win the fight. Again, a back and forth match favors Griffin’s style.

One ace in Evan’s pocket is that his training partner, Keith Jardine, TKO’d Griffin during their meetup. Evans will have intimate knowledge of the game plan and insight into what Jardine used.

I think the advantage is going to be with Rashad and that is who I’m picking to win.
